There Are So Many Different Ways To Help
People often feel helpless to lend assistance to someone they know whom they suspect may be dealing with Intimate Partner Violence (IPV). Alternately, they may not realize that they know a teen or adult who is dealing with an abusive situation. Yet, when you consider the fact that in the United States > 1 in 3 teens (ages 13 to 19) experiences some level of abusive / controlling behavior in their relationships, and about 1 in 4 women and 1 in 7 men
experience physical relationship violence at some point in their lives, the reality is, someone (or many people) you know is or has been impacted.
School Sponsorship Partnerships
Do you already sponsor a school or local sports team/s? Are you interested in partnering with LiteHeart to sponsor a school education and/or self-defense program?
Additional opportunity to co-brand small give-away merchandise.
Pet Foster Programs
Did you know that many victims won’t leave because they are afraid for their pets, and some shelters need pet foster homes to support this need? These programs allow victims a safe place for their pets while the people get the help they need to find safety and a path forward.
Volunteer Locally
See what help a local organization needs. Perhaps it’s a clothing or blanket drive that can be supported with gently loved items your team members already have on hand. Maybe their offices need a new coat of paint. Are there small ways you could help their mission?
